CEC – Cork English College have taken their quality learning experience online by providing 25 hours of online learning to current and prospective CEC students. CEC Virtual combines 20 hours live face to face learning in Zoom connected classrooms and with 5 additional hours structured guided learning using an all-new platform. It’s the traditional award-winning CEC English language learning experience but from the comfort of a student’s own home.

In the past number of weeks the school has invested both time & resources to streamline online classes for current students and bring the CEC experience worldwide. CEC Virtual classes are conducted through Zoom and give students access to quality face to face learning and interaction with an expert CEC teacher and classmates to share the experience with. Guided self-study on an all new interactive learning platform supplements in-class tuition and enables 24/7 English language learning for students to maximise their potential. Students can choose between General English & IELTS Preparation group classes or individual One to One classes if they so wish.

CEC Virtual comprises of not only classes but also an engaging online activity programme, drop in student welfare sessions and an array of online resources.  All of which are free of charge, allow students to keep in contact, put their newfound skills into practice and most importantly feel part of a student community.

CEC Virtual has been developed by the experienced CEC Academic team in consultation with current CEC students to provide the optimum learning experience. Even at this early stage, CEC online classes are proving a hit, with several class levels already in place and several current CEC students choosing to extend their online programmes. CEC intends to further develop their online education portfolio with Cambridge, IELTS, & OET Exam Preparation to come soon. As people around the world are encouraged to stay home and stay safe, education shouldn’t go on hold and CEC are committed to providing a quality English language learning journey.
